In its most simplistic form, the SLA’s laser beam cures light sesitive polymers into the shape of the part. The LOM’s laser cuts thin layers of paper which are then laminated together to form the part. The SLS hardens powdered materials into your part replicas. All within a few thousandths of an inch of parts size. Models which in the past may have taken weeks or months to complete are typically finished in one day.
